As a former member of the RAAF, Shane turned to Townsville shopfitting in 1985 to pursue his interest of carpentry and joinery. Having worked in Townsville with other shopfitting companies, Shane decided it was time to venture into structuring his own business. And the Townsville joinery which is SOH Design was born and began Townsville Commercial Fitout projects.

S.O.H Design & Fitout was set up with a view to providing clients with a unique blend of quality workmanship, modern functional designs and well-proven materials. These three elements still remain the basis of every S.O.H installation. To date over 180 shops in Townsville have been manufactured and installed by S.O.H Design & Fitout.
